Aliah Rosenthal is a poet and artist conjured up in the primordial soup of the Lower East Side. He is the author of books, “Son of A…” (2015),”No Hookups” (2017) and the poetry albums “Slick Bowery Sell Out” (2016) and “Alive in ZooRaq” (2020). He has collaborated with Allen Ginsberg, Anne Waldman, The Lemonheads, David Amram, Harry Smith, Arthur’s Landing, Ai Weiwei, O Future, Aaron Neville, Kool & the Gang to name a few. Aliah has read and performed at The Poetry Project, Naropa University, Bowery Poetry Club, The Nuyorican Cafe, Chinatown Soup Gallery, Smush Gallery, Material BuchKultur Gallery, Goteborg Stadsbiblioteket and Cornelia Street Cafe. In addition, poems have been included in the Maintenant Journal of Contemporary Dada Writings & Art, Homestead Review, Ping Pong Free Press, Poems-for-All, Love Love Magazine and others. He is the godson of Allen Ginsberg and currently works at the Ai Weiwei studio.
